Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings hope Cordarrelle Patterson will ease the pain of Mut 24 Coins Percy Harvin. Patterson is a skilled player with the ball in his grasp, however, he's not as good as Harvin with regards to the entirety the game. The preseason is when the Vikings will likely put Patterson's hands full to try to ensure that he is able to adapt to Madden NFL 24 quick. It'll be interesting to discover how they will engage him.
Ziggy Ansah, Defensive End, Detroit Lions
Raw was a term used in almost every conversation regarding BYU defensive end Ezekiel Ansah just prior to it was time for the Madden NFL 24 Draft. The combination of speed and strength led him to be drafted in the top five, though, and that draft position is accompanied by the expectation of being a key contributor early on. Given the speed at which Ansah is growing in his college years, the next chapter of his career should be exciting to follow.
Brian Schwenke, Center, Tennessee Titans
The interior of the Titans offensive line has been a glaring problem for the team over the recent seasons, but that shouldn't be anymore following the fact that Tennessee has signed guard Andy Levitre and drafted Alabama guard Chance Warmack with the No. 10 selection in the draft of April. However, fourth-rounder Brian Schwenke, a center out of California is the inside player to watch in training camp. He was viewed as an "ordinary tools" guy, but should be considered for being a starter from the first day.
Peterson not the best choice for a replacement.
Adrian Peterson erased any and any doubts over his ability to recover quickly when he ran for 84 yards with two touchdowns during Week 1 of the season that ended eight months after undergoing major procedure to repair a tear to the ACL and MCL. However, news broke today that Peterson wasn't totally recovered from hernia surgery he had in January, but the team hopes that Peterson will return on time for OTAs in May, and possibly even for voluntary workouts in Mut Coins Madden 24 late April.
