India-Australia Strengthen Anti-Terror Ties UPSC
India and Australia have recently reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in combating terrorism in all its manifestations. This agreement was highlighted during the bilateral meeting between India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Richard Marles in June 2025. The collaboration forms a critical pillar of the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, now in its fifth year, reflecting growing strategic convergence between the two democracies.
