Reading Jeremiah 1:1-10. It’s interesting that when God tells us to go, the natural humanly thing to do is go straight to our limitations. Moses said, “I can’t speak”, Jeremiah said “I’m too young,” Mary even said “how can this be since I know not a man” but God said with man this impossible, but with God, ALL things are possible. The natural thing to do is to think of our limitations and why we can’t do something. In our minds we’re not capable, we’re not qualified. God doesn’t always call the ones who think they are capable. But HE is capable. And Christ is in us the hope of glory. We and God are one! He’s blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings. This is why we must walk after the Spirit. We must keep our minds on Jesus. When Peter focused on Jesus, he could walk on water. I don’t believe it was only the fear of the wind that made him sink, I believe he thought of his humanly limitations instead of focusing on Jesus with him. What has God given you to do? What has He called you for in this season that seems impossible to you? Remember He knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and He already had a plan for you. Allow Him to place His word in your heart and go forth with God-fidence. Just like Mary say, "be it unto me according to your Word Lord".
