A BIS License for Foreign Manufacturer is an official approval granted to overseas manufacturers who wish to export products covered under mandatory Indian Standards. This license allows the foreign company to use the ISI mark on their products, confirming compliance with Indian quality and safety standards. Without this license, regulated products cannot legally enter or be sold in the Indian market.
