Cleveland Browns receiver Jordan Cameron says it's been the attention of opposing defenses and not the issues with the quarterback Jason Campbell that has slowed him down in recent weeks as per May Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

"I must improve my speed and must figure out how to make myself open",'' added Cameron. "I have to work to be involved and do more. I have to perform better and contribute to the team and do what I can in order to aid this team. This is what I want to do."

The third-year player was enjoying a breakout season in 2013. but has seen his production decline significantly over the past two weeks, with the new starting quarterback Jason Campbell targeting Cameron just 18 times over the past three games. Cameron is a 45-yard receiver who recorded 45 catches , 515 yards and scored six touchdowns over the initial seven games of the season, has just seven catches for 33 yards the past two games.

Cameron, who had been emerging as a big-play threat for the offensively-challenged Browns this season, says that defenses are rolling coverage his way and are now limiting his effectiveness downfield. Cameron, who is just a rookie receiver, says it's his job to work harder and get over the coverage and isn't concerned about the chemistry he has with his starting quarterback.

"I don't believe that it's Jason even remotely Cameron said. Cameron declared. "They're jamming you at the line , and then you have somebody hitting you on the 2nd level, so it's simply a harder chemistry between the route. The timing of the route is slightly off.''
