To import files from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop, you need to log in to both as an ADMIN. First, in QuickBooks Desktop, make sure it is updated, then open the company file you want to export. Select Company > Export Company File to QuickBooks Online. If this option is not available, you may have to download the QuickBooks Online Migration Tool. Upon being prompted, you will need to log in to QuickBooks Online and follow the on-screen instructions to upload your company file. You can only upload a company file with under 350,000 targets.
