Presidential Candidate Rollan Roberts Announces Pledge to Make General Elections National Holiday and Include Children Voting.

Presidential Candidate Rollan Roberts II has announced that he will declare all General Elections a national holiday. Dr. Roberts hopes to increase voter turnout by removing all barriers to day-of voting.

Roberts said, "I know what it's like to get to work early and stay late, have evening events, kid's activities, and everything else hit on Election Day. I want everyone to be involved in the voting process, so to promote voting among youth and help parents that may not otherwise have childcare, my Administration will have a separate, fun voting area for kids of all ages. I want the whole family to vote! A national voting ballot will be provided using the same electronic voting machines that mom and dad use, except everyone under the age of 18 will vote on their favorite animal, color, food, favorite school subject, and other national favorites."

Dr. Roberts' plan to promote voter turnout, responsibility, and convenience also promotes and strengthens families, a key tenant to his presidential platform, by encouraging family time and conversation about our patriotic duty and government. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents to share "the great responsibility each one of us have, by virtue of being born in this great country, to exercise our right to vote," as Roberts puts it.
