Om
Utilizing slow, rotational trunk movements while side-lying helps inhibit hyperactive muscle tone and dampens painful spasticity loops. This gentle twisting signals the nervous system to relax over-tightened muscle groups.
Musculoskeletal exercises often fall short when dealing with injuries rooted directly in the central nervous system. InStep Physical Therapy provides specialized neurological physiotherapy to patients throughout Edmonton. Our clinicians use advanced handling techniques to balance muscle tone, improve coordination, and correct deep-seated movement dysfunctions safely.
