Top 4 SMD/LED Screen Brand in Pakistan
While there are many brands in Pakistan offering SMD screen solutions, I’ll focus on the top four most well-known and widely recognized ones. Along the way, I’ll also share some real insights and truths about the market based on my personal experience working in this field.
Keep in mind that all these brands manufacture quality products. However, in Pakistan, some individuals misuse these brand names to sell counterfeit or low-quality replicas in the market.
All brands are based in China.
1) GKGD:
GKGD is currently ranked as the number one SMD screen brand in Pakistan, with over 500 resellers nationwide. The authorized dealership for GKGD is held by Al-Noor SMD Screens, a Lahore-based company that also operates official setups in Rawalpindi and Karachi.
I’ve placed Al-Noor SMD Screens at the top because they offer a wide range of GKGD products, including indoor, outdoor, flexible, GOB (Glue on Board), and aluminium-based screens. They deliver genuine quality at cost-effective prices, with all products directly imported from the original GKGD company.
What’s impressive is that GKGD maintains consistent quality across all countries there are no first, second, or third copies of GKGD products anywhere. Al-Noor SMD Screens also provides a 2-year warranty on all models, and most importantly, their after-sales service is excellent. Even after the warranty period, they continue to offer reliable support in case of any issues.
2) Leyard:
Mustang LED is official distributor of Leyard supplying genuine products with good quality and a 2-year warranty. However, let me share a real example: a client who had both Leyard and GKGD screens installed reported an issue with the Leyard screen. Despite raising a complaint with the Leyard distributor, the client received no support. Eventually, they reached out to GKGD for assistance, and the issue was resolved. This incident highlights potential shortcomings in Leyard’s after-sales service. It may be the work of reseller of Leyard.
3) Absen:
Absen is known for its top-quality LED/SMD display products. However, it's important to note that there is no official distributor of Absen in Pakistan. Due to company policies and regulations, no individual or company in Pakistan is authorized to import and distribute Absen products. The only legitimate way to procure an Absen display is by directly sending your requirements and installation location to the company in China. After review and approval, Absen will ship the material to Pakistan. If you get full service it cost you more and difficult to acquire after sale services form China.
Caution: If someone offers you an Absen display in the local market, it is most likely a counterfeit product.
4) Unilumin:
Unilumin is also recognized for its high-quality LED/SMD display products but only if you receive the original units. Unfortunately, the products available in Pakistan are not genuine and undermine the brand’s global reputation. In the local market, many sellers are importing low-grade modules from China and falsely marketing them under the Unilumin name.
Most customers, especially non-technical buyers, are unaware that Unilumin has no authorized distributor in Pakistan. Therefore, extreme caution is advised when purchasing products under the Unilumin brand in the region.
Conclusion:
While all four brands GKGD, Leyard, Absen, and Unilumin offer quality products globally, only GKGD, through Al-Noor SMD Screens, provides genuine, authorized products with reliable support in Pakistan. The others either lack official distributors or face issues with after-sales service. Always verify authenticity before purchasing to avoid counterfeit products and future complications.
