The Unexpected Companion
I discovered Sudoku during a long, restless summer. I was staying with family, away from the usual noise of the city, and my days stretched endlessly. I stumbled across an old puzzle book on a dusty shelf and, out of boredom, flipped to the Sudoku section.
The first attempt was clumsy. I didn’t even finish it. But something about the neat little boxes and the quiet challenge they offered felt oddly comforting. It was structured, logical, and unchanging—a small piece of order in an otherwise messy world.
