A recent Notification by the Railway Recruitment Board (RR announces the recruitment of 5696 positions of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) in Indian Railways.
Students must have passed Class 10th followed by ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized university/board with a minimum 60% aggregate. Students awaiting the results of their final examination are not eligible for ALP positions. The upper age limit for candidates is 30 Years as of 1 July 2024 for UR Category students. However, there are age relaxations for certain categories of students according to government norms.
Application forms for RRB ALP 2024 can be filled out online from 20 January 2024 to 19 February 2024 by visiting the official website of the zonal RRB Websites.
The selection for the post of ALP in Indian Railways will be done based on separate Written Tests in two stages followed by Computer Aptitude Test (CBAT) document verification.
The final merit list will be prepared with 70% weightage to Part A of CBT-2 and 30% weightage to the score of CBAT.
